State-Of-The-Art Cold Storage Hubs

Perishable fresh crops start to degrade the moment they are severed from fields. To secure natural shelf stability, **Wadi Aldeqa** operates multi-room, temperature-controlled warehouse systems directly situated at **Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), Dubai**.

Our facilities do not rely on basic cooling panels. We deploy dynamic **Controlled Atmosphere (CA)** and **Modified Atmosphere (MA)** storage cells, allowing us to actively monitor and adjust nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and relative humidity indices based on specific crop requirements:

• **Onion & Garlic Units**: 0°C to 4°C with dry 65-70% humidity controls to counter mold.
• **Table Potato Curing Zone**: 7°C to 10°C with 90-95% humidity to secure skin healing.
• **Cavendish Banana Rooms**: Constant 13.3°C under active ethylene-scrubbing systems.

03 / Cargo Preservation

Ventilated Cargo & Customized Packing

Improper packaging causes thermal build-up and crushing during long-haul sea freight. Wadi Aldeqa invests in premium container loading structures:

• **Ventilated Double-Wall Cartons**: Designed with custom dynamic air vents to enable high gas exchange inside refrigerated High-Cube sea reefers.
• **Foam Wrap Sleeving**: Individuals bottle gourds, brinjals, and mangoes are sleeve-wrapped in soft poly-foam guards to shield from skin abrasions.
• **Palletization & Strapping**: Heavy-duty cardboard octabins containing watermelons are strapped tightly on IPPC certified wooden pallets to block any shift movements.
